book... Undoubtedly an all-time favorite for most of the kids too.
This cake is the best go-to with
the over ripped Bananas. Super moist, soft, and heavenly Banana Walnut Cake is a must-try.
Sharing the recipe below.
Ingredients
1 1/4th cup All-purpose flour or
Maida
½ cup salted butter
½ cup 1 tbsp caster Sugar
1 medium-size egg
1 Banana mashed
½ cup sour cream
½ tsp baking soda
1/4th tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
½ cup roughly chopped walnuts
Procedure
In a
deep bottom vessel, add the caster sugar and butter. Blend it well using a hand
blender.
Add egg
to it and blend it until light and fluffy.
Add in
the cream cheese and mix well.
In a
strainer pour the all-purpose flour along with baking soda, salt. Sieve this
into the wet ingredients slowly till incorporates well.
Add the
vanilla essence chopped walnuts and give it a final mix.
Dust a
cake tin and pour this batter into it.
Bake
for 40-45min at 180 degrees Celsius.
Tips
and Notes
In case of unavailability of a
blender, you can mix the batter well with a spatula until light and fluffy.
Icing the cake top with
Buttercream icing also makes the cake yummier especially for kids who prefer the icing on all cakes may it be cupcakes or not.
