Ingredients
250 gms All purpose flour or Maida
100 gms salted butter
2 tbsp powdered Sugar
1 tsp Baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp honey roasted almonds
1 tin Milkmaid
Procedure
Mix Butter along with powdered sugar
until smooth.
Add Milkmaid to the mixture.
Sieve all-purpose flour, baking powder,
baking soda into the mix gradually until all well combined.
Add vanilla extract.
Combine well.
Add honey roasted almonds to the batter.
Separate 1/4th of the batter and add
cocoa powder to it, mix well.
Grease a baking dish with flour and
parchment paper.
Pour the white and brown batter into it
alternately such that the top and the bottom layers are white with brown one
poured in between them.
Tap the baking dish on the kitchen
platform to remove any air bubbles before baking.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for
40-45min.
Tips and Notes
Kindly watch-out for the baking capacity
or oven heat of your oven and adjust the baking time accordingly.
Adding a food colour can also be a good
idea to replace cocoa powder making it colourful.
Can be topped with Hazelnut Ganache or
Chocolate Ganache if wish to make it even delicious.
