Ice Cream Pie

Most loved ingredients, beautiful crust, and creamy topping makes this dessert a very special one for birthdays, anniversaries, or any special occasions.

Ice cream pie could be a new replacement for usually baked cakes for a change.

I am sure this dessert is an instant easy recipe that can disappear in a snap.

Here we go.

Ingredients

Pie crust

250gm biscuits or chocolate cookies

2 tsp salted butter (melted)

Ice cream filling

2 ½ - 3 pax/pints of ice cream (Flavours of your choice we have used Major quantities of Macadamia nut and Belgian chocolate, along with minor quantities of strawberry, mango, and raspberry)

Fudge sauce topping

½ tsp salted butter

1/4th cup heavy cream

2 tbsp light corn syrup

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1tsp vanilla extract

100gms chocolate chips

Procedure

In a jar of mixer grind the biscuits along with melted butter.

Spread it across the base of the cake tin. And bake it in an oven for 5-7minutes at 180-185 degrees Celcius. Just for the crust to be formed.

Scoop out the ice creams and arrange the scoops evenly into the cake tin.

Spread it using an offset spatula. Cover it with aluminium foil and keep it in the freezer to set for 2 hours.

Now for the fudge sauce mix butter, heavy cream, light corn syrup, brown sugar, cocoa powder and bring it to a boil. Now add vanilla extract.

Turn off the flame and pour this mix over chocolate chips. Mix well until well combined and glossy.

Pour this beautiful sauce on the pie and let it freeze again for 2-3 hours or overnight whichever is convenient.

Tips and Notes
